Impact Shift: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Great Strides Walk in Gig Harbor
Description
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has invited Junior League of Tacoma members to volunteer at the Great Strides Gig Harbor Walk. Volunteer shifts available from 8am – 2:30pm.
Great Strides raises funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis, a genetic disease that affects the lungs and other organs.
Volunteers may assist with a variety of event duties, including:
- Event set-up
- Participant registration
- Snack service
- Event support during the walk
- Tear-down
Lunch will be provided from BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse and ice cream from Olympic Mountain Ice Cream. Please share with anyone else who would be interested as well!
